Can you disable the trunk release from the remote?

Re: 2015 remote trunk release

No AFAIK.......I think you would have to disconnect the release solenoid to disable it.

Does your car have the pushbutton start or does it use a regular key?

Let me guess: Fat fingers keep pushing the buttons on the fob when you pull the keys out of the ignition? The new fob design sucks and you aren't the only person it happens to.

Sadly enough,I have the push-button on my 2014 and have yet to even use my key fob for anything...I actually didn't even realize I had a trunk release on it lol.

You know there is a key blade stuck in the fob, right? Just in case you ever need to get in the car while the battery is flat dead....

Yeah, that was one of the big things the salesperson wanted to show me, as she was completely fascinated by it.
I was not fascinated, however it is INCREDIBLY clever, and I do admire the ingenuity.
EDIT: Yeah, when I bought my car I was working 60 hour weeks and only had 3 days to get the whole process done...I already knew what I wanted and where it was so when I got there I was pretty much like:
