There is a spot under retail sales or group buys I beleive where he has the deal posted. They're the cheapest, and helpful.

I havent been able to get a hold of them for 4 days though, they havent been online. It sucks, I need either my money back or my clutch. Only cuz Im selling my car, Ill see what he can work out. Ill pay it off if I need to, and sell it.
Got your email I'll send the order to processing so they can get your clutch to you.

I didnt finish the order, it was sitting up on my computer for like 4 or 5 days, lol. Its all good though. Is there any way you can refund the 100 I paid already?? If not, I can pay it off, but it would be easier to get it refunded. Sorry for bein an *** and askin for the money back. If not, let me know, and Ill pay it off/sell it.

Sorry again, have a good one, and let me know

Peace

[QUOTE=2K1Civic17"Gabe]Thats your MAP sensor. More than likely. Doublecheck all your connections, if they are crimped and not soldered, SOLDER THEM! Make sure its wired correctly, make sure all connections are good, all grounds, etc. Make sure no wires are exposed, all covered in shrinkwrap or electrical tape. I had the same thing happen, CEL, jerky shifting, jerky driving while NOT accelerating, i was freaked out. Just double check/triple check all connections for safety reasons anyways.

ok so the guy at a local shop says it shouldent matter if it is soldered or crimped, he wants to know if u soldered ALL the wires (sounds like he just doesnt want to do them all). i tryed shakin wires n ****, nuthin happens. ill try again.

I soldered every wire, and even went through my stereo at the same time and soldered that, lol.

Are the wires soldered where you tapped into the MAP sensor, and they arent backwards or anything??

And if its crimped, it may have a fine connection for a little while, but it will PROBABLY get knocked loose eventually, maybe not, but you dont want to have to worry about it anyways. With everything soldered, you are sure that all connections are good, and wont come loose.

that sucks, hope you get it all fixed. Is your ICU fine on you or reset? or do you have the vafcII?

The kit isnt bad at all. I will admit their electronics arent the best. Thats why people should get eManage with it. I have had no problems with my MAP sensor, only when the wires were loose.

Soldering isnt too hard, just practice a few times. You want to melt the solder, and basically hold the tip of the iron on the wires as you melt it, than it will drip onto the wire, and you will move the tip of the iron over the wire. It will sort of drag and drop the solder down on the wire. It just takes practice. Its better to do wiring yourself anyways.

BUt why does the kit suck??? is it just that prob?

It will all come together. Turbo's are a headache period. Once everything is hooked up nicely, and running properly, you'll love the kit. I hated it at first, but now its love. I hope you get it all worked out. Best of luck!

Peace

Exactly. Do your homework before jumping into the world of forced induction. If you are new to it and dont want to invest the time to learn about it then buy a WRX or SRT-4.

I expected one large headache. And it was a little worse. But only cuz TSIs unit doesnt save my sh**. Other than that, there has been no issues. I regularly check everything out under the hood. usually 1-2 times a day (when I drive over 100 miles a day). It will be a lot of work definately. If you arent down to make sure everything is always perfect and do a lot of maintenance, definately dont turbo.

hahahahahahahahahahaha rofl, 100 bucks. man, if he hooks you up, let me know, Id have to get one too, haha. Good luck. Maybe add another 4-500 on there, haha.

Yeah, it is one thing after another, but once you get it all worked out, it will be sweet. My car is driving like a dream. shifts so much smoother than it did stock. picks up very very smoothly, so nice. I am gonna use a new harness for my ICU, and wire it all back up. Ive just been switching out the unit, and reusing the old wire harness. So hopefully this will fix my prob. The first wire harness they gave me seemed to be put together crappy. so hopefuly it will start saving my crap and the main headache will be gone. I jsut need some hours to go do it.

SLP, can you please PM me your number. I will either pay off the clutch next week, or need a refund. I am starting to think I want the clutch. My stock one isnt holding up to well anyways. And if I sell the car, I will probably need a new clutch in there. Im thinking I need it now, so please send me a PM, and I will work out my finances here. thanks a lot!

Peace
