Just an idea - try using 4-8-D with the emanage....that's the setting the RSX's use....It may cure the problem.

Just for the record I have 440cc RCs and I get the code. If I take out too much correction its just way too rich. If I run it with the code 3 grand and lower at part throttle stumbles like hell. I emailed keihin who is the producer of our whole fuel injection and ECU to see if they would consider reprograming my fuel map for 440cc based on a stock fuel map at pretty much any cost, and they have not yet emailed me back. They have the technology and it isn't hard for them to do. I will try calling them next week. Where's hondata when you need them????

Im thinking of running 2 of my 440s as sub injectors and using my stock injectors. Not a great setup but better than having to rip first gear everytime I leave a light so I can get the car to go. hehe Anyone have opinions on this idea. BTW I am running a custom Intake manifold so I can add injector bores into the plenum. Opto I know you know these emanages in and out, it should eliminate the code that way right?

update: Got the 1106 again.......took the injector correction rate down a little more to 295 instead of 300

1) Used ML, E-Manage (no volt clamp), RSX S inj's, Inj corr factor:240CC --> 295CC

result: good fuel economy, no sputters, no chokes, NO CEL 1106

Are you still cell free? and could the auto tranny have any effect with the difference in ecu? Since opto is fine with the correction factor set to 320cc.

Opto are you running the emenage with the missing link or without?

how is it working out for you? Are you using the voltage clamp? do you think that the vtec in the ex ecu has anything to do with the difference?

Auto may have everything to do with it.

I am having no issues with CELs - I used to have a few knock sensor CELs every once in a while, but those seem to have gone away with a little more tuning (I'm crossing my fingers here).

I am using the voltage clamp - only because with the ML it clamps the MAP voltage around 2.45 volts or something. The ECU will throw a fit if it goes above 2.95 or something along those lines. This means you still have stock fueling capacity that you are not using (from 2.45 to 2.95 volts). I prefer to use the stock ECUs fueling capability vs the emanages injector feature simply because the stock ECU does things better....

Either way you do it however, it will work - in the end it all depends on the tuning. Case in point, I had hard starting issues when warm because there was too much fuel being added when I started the car. With tuning I can now start the car warm without having to floor it.

^^^ yeah. So are you saying that you are not using the injector correction and just running the rsx-s injectors as if they were the stock ones?

He can't mean that. The car runs pig rich and the CEL for too rich comes on.

Sorry - I don't mean that the emanage can handle things well. But adding pulses (or duty cycle) to the injectors is better managed by the ECU - the emanage will add duty cycle to the injectors, but it may not be as accurate as the stock ECU (since the emanage is essentially guessing as to when to add fuel - it doesn't monitor any sort or crank or cam signals)....

I am using the injector correction feature (240 to 360). MY injectors flow tested to around 350cc's at at a certain pressure. I just bumped my fuel pressure up a few PSI to compensate to around 360cc's.

I highly recommend to anyone who purchases RSX injectors to get them flow tested BEFORE installing them - this will expedite tuning...The fuel trims in the stock ECU will compensate for small variances.

so what would be the difference between the method your using and the one that dezod is? Other than Having the ability to increase fuel pressure?I thought our stock injectors were 220cc?

The E-Manage is used to tune the vehicle with respect of where to add fuel under what throttle % & to deal with timing issues as well.

Yep...

Thing is - with the pressure sensor, you can tune off of load (ie boost) - vs throttle position. This is much better.

also, you can tune partial throttle response in the AR map too - which is nice!!

Off load? You mean reading from the pressure sensor?

yes - the greddy pressur sensor (which is a 3 bar MAP sensor). Tuning off of that vs the TPS or stock MAP sensor (which is only good to 2.95 volts or 0 PSI reliably)....
