Keep it going...
01 EX Coupe MT with 90,000 miles
Only problem is flaking clearcoat all around the car (9 spots).
Regular maintenance, good gas mileage, very reliable.
Clutch is starting to slip a little, but not bad for the way it's driven!

01 Civic 67k miles, some emissions issue in the first year, covered under warranty. Nothing else.....but normal wear and tear.
I wonder if where your car was made affects this at all? Mine came from Japan.

2005 vp civic coupe, 16,000 miles and a few problems. The roof had to be repainted because of flaking clear coat, the clutch has been fixed twice, and the passenger door panel has been replace because it cracked.

My trans needed full rebuild right after I bought my car, but now the car runs fine...
BUT, I do have a messed up rheostat in the gas gauge ...........some times it says I'm on empty and I put 10 bucks of gas in and then I'm almost full.
At least it says I have less gas than more ...
Hey could the gas guage be from poor grounding?

01 MT 78K and counting. Other than a front end collision where I had to replace the radiator, no mechanical problems really. I still get some idle problems where it will drop unexpectedly but tranny is awesome. Paint is shitty though but overall, a reliable DD. Its a keeper!

At 33k miles my countershaft bearing decided it wanted out. It was covered under warranty. It decided again at 34k miles it still wanted out, but was gonna take the main shaft with it. Again, covered under warranty. The countershaft was nationally held for 6 weeks... you couldn't order it. Thank god I worked for the Honda dealership doing the repair - and they gave me a AWD 5spd Element for that time period until my car worked again.
Never payed a cent - and no problems since.

01 Lx M/T with 50k miles, had it since 31k.
No problems yet that I haven't caused...only 1 accident which was easily fixed at not the cars fault and then hail (also fixed).
Might have a front joint going bad but not sure yet.

67k.. no problems at all that were not my fault... with one exception...
about a month after i got my car a spider got into my cluster and built a web over my gas gauge... i knew nothing about my car other than that i finally had a car that cost more than $400... stealership charged me $80 to fix it... they left fingerprints all over the inside of the cluster... i then took it apart and fixed it myself...

sporatic engine noise, sounds like two belts rubbing together...think its due to the timing belt tensioner hitting the casing, there has been an issue, and there is suppose to be a new tensioner available, had to stop short, abs sensor failed, wheels locked up, slammed into the back of a accord..that was fun, and trunk is leaking water, has been to honda twice, both times thought to be fixed, but there is still leaks.

My 05 sedan is up to almost at 40k miles, 3 months from being 2 years old. My average is around 450 miles per week. It gets a workout.
The RE92 Potenza tires are VERY noisy but have reached the rated 40k. Rotated every 5k. Replacing with Michelin Harmony models soon.
The problems that I had repaired under warranty coverage were, Drivers seat rocking / Oil leak. They replaced the oil pan gasket and some washers / Slight buildup at power steering line connections on rack. They just need to be tightened / Passenger front strut leaking. (at first they were only going to replace 1 but changed both fronts) The rear struts have an area on the lower section outer sides that has the paint worn off. Dealer said they are o.k.
I use a 5k mile interval for oil changes (Castrol 5w20, OEM filters) Transmission drain and re-fill at 25k miles.
I have traded back and forth between Corollas and Civics for years (both are great) I have never in over 20+ years of owning Japanese models been left stranded or failed to start without an easy fix. In all that time I have never done any major repairs only maintenance and basic repairs.
Drive on !!
