We are talking about CIVIC's here mang, who HASN"T had any problems? I know when I first bought my car I had to take it back in the first week cause the steering rack was all fukked up. Here is the breakdown on our civics...1) your tranny or clutch will go out first (at around 75k miles) and 2) your car will start to overheat (at around 130k miles). Some might say, how, Pacifikballa, do you know this? Cause my friend, I drive a civic and it will happen to you too!!

Please note, I am happy to say, my car is at 137k miles and is still going strong! 2001 EX COUPE!!

I'm now at just over 80k, and my clutch seems strong. I haven't had any problems except for the alternator, but it was my fault...

If you drive the civic nicely, it will be nice to you.

Only problems I've had is going through headlights like no other car I've seen, and blew the fuse to the O2 sensor, which Honda tried to rape me on (long story).

well i've had my clutch replaced after i bought the car just so that i could have a newer clutch... done numerous brake jobs but those are all probably my fault for driving too fast and braking too hard... my water pump went out so i replaced that baby a few days ago... starter went out... had to replace distributor coil... and then regular maintenance... then again my car is old enough to drink... and running at 220k miles but for it's age those are minor problems if you think about it... got my '06 civic coupe last march'06. I never had problems with it not until this winter that I observed annoying vibrations with my right front speaker. If the ambient temperature is less than 20F, when I played songs which has strong bass element, I could hear the speaker vibrate and it's already not pleasing to my ears, they're noise. I verified that the problem is only with the right speaker coz if I changed the balance to the left, then the noise caused but the vibration will be gone. My friend who had his '06 civic coupe last november '05 has also observed the same problem in his car and it only happens every winter.

I don't know if we were the only one who observed this but I would really appreciate it if somebody in here could symphatize with me.

When it is cold outside my back speaker starts to rattle. I figured it was because it was just a crap speaker or something.

This will happen everytime if your in cold weather, our speakers are actually very good Pioneer speakers, you just got to know how a speaker is composed to know why they rattle, the speaker cone is made of rubber, and when its cold, the rubber is hard and not flexible and when you play your music at a loud level, it will rattle cause the rubber cant flex on the bass notes, when the weather is warm or the speaker has warmed up, the rubber will become malleable thus no rattle

What i would do in cold weather, is set the music at a soft level with not bass for about 10 minutes so the rubber warms up

Re: Everyone Respond: Who has Had problems with there car and who hasnt had problems!

I had loose wiring to the fuse box which led to my vehicle not starting and also had to repalce the bearings in the tranny for some reason. Other than that it has been good to me. But those two things are expensive.

113000KM 2001 Lx coupe:

Canadian winter man,

Rusted at the window rail,

Rust bolts and nuts ( one of them snapped while i was installing the short shfter. Another one seize while i was trying to install my intake.)

Upper center console (where the cigarate lighter) and A-panel trim came off while i was making a hard turn.

When the windshield wiper is on at the first click, the turning signaling sound is on as the same time. Havent figure it out why.
