    Hey Craig,

My email address is [email protected]. I really appreciate you helping me, thank you! I have found out more information, some of my under the dash fuses do not turn on with the tester but they are not broken, so they do not have current. Under my dash board, I also found a black wire which was burnt.

    Hi Craig,

I am contacting you regarding this response you had about the license plate light . (https://www.civicforums.com/forums/1...t-turning.html)

I have the same issue with my 2005 Honda Civic LX 4 door.
My license plate light is not coming on and my the tail light attached to the trunk lid is also not working.

I was wondering if you could please assist me on what the problem most likely could be?
I do a little DIY work on my car but not a lot. I dont know anything about car wiring or anything.
Maybe if possible you can assist me with pictures? I would greatly appreciate any assistance you could provide me. If I can get detailed steps (with pictures) on how to fix the problem I think I can do it myself.

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Thank You

Hey Craig, My email address is [email protected]. I'm not sure what type of tester i need to check for B+ (i'm not familiar with that terminology). I have just used a simple power tester with a ground and light to probe the little fuses. Thanks in advance for your help with this. I greatly appreciate it.

Yes the other 2 buttons right beside it are lit up. Could you possibly tell me how to replace the burnt out bulb? Thanks!

Hi Craig, this is regarding your response to my post about the backlight illumination not working for my rear defroster button. (03 Civic EX) It was working perfectly before the defroster lines were scraped away, I feel like that must have shorted it out or something somehow. In any case, even with the new rear windshield, the illumination still doesn't work. Today I checked all of the fuses in the interior box and under hood box. Everything looks fine. If it's the bulb, how would I go about replacing it? Thanks!

Hi Craig, I've seen your posts on here and thought I'd give you a shout to see if you know where I should start with my particular issue/s.

I just bought a 2000 civic ex coupe. Upon ownership, I got out on the highway, pushed the cruise button (it didn't light up) then pressed the 'set' button (no cruise control light ever lit up in the gauge cluster) and nothing happened. I thought, huh, must be a fuse. Nope fuse is good. That was a couple of days ago, tonight on the way home, ALL of the dash lights went out (gauge cluster, heater controls, everything but the radio). When I turned on the over head light I could see that all of the gauges were working properly, they just weren't backlit. I naturally thought a fuse blew. Nope, that fuse is good too. I was curious if you could lay out a list of possible things to check. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your time!

i did a wheel balancing and alignment on my honda civic 2005 lxi a couple of days ago and since then i am feeling a kind of a 'slight' vibration on the clutch and accilator. can you advice what could be the reason for this? i am also feeling a sort of a 'difference' in the transmission (manual)

can you advice what could be the reason and do i have to do the alignment again?
