I’m replacing my OEM wheels with new 17x7.5 +45 wheels. I’ve been weighing the pros and cons of a few tire options and can’t decide…



235/45

Pro: Best for potholes & best speedo accuracy.
Con: Wheel well clearance might be an issue on the 7.5” wheels? Not sure...

215/50

Pro: Slightly better for clearance and mileage
Con: Worse for potholes & speedo accuracy.

225/45

Are these worth considering?



For reference: These will be for summer only. I live in Ontario, Canada. My city is infested with potholes.
