Will bigger tires fit?

I have an 02 Civic LX with 180/70R14 steelies and I want to change them to my nicer rims/tires from my old Accord which are 195/65R15, will I have any interference or other issues besides spedo error?

Re: Will bigger tires fit?

Put one of the 15" wheels next to the 14" ones. If the lug pattern is the same and they are wider and taller, you will lose power and possibly rub when steering. Check if they are the same width and then check the offset. I do not know if the civic offset is the same as the Accord offset, but if its way off you might have issues.

Throw one on, see what happens.,

What year Accord? Might be 5 lug.

Use a tire calculator to determine speedo error. Wheel offset is usually stamped on the back of the rim. OEM wheels are typically close to the same offset.

It's a 2000 Accord 4 lug, it fits on the civic I just wanted to check before I test drove.
