I've been looking all over the web to find the correct bolt sizes for mounting the A/C compressor in a 2001 Civic LX. Some manuals say 8x1.25mm bolts, but don't say the length. Some youtube videos just say "12mm bolts"

My compressors bearing seized up last fall, so my father-in-law and I just took the A/C out, and put in a belt made for the non-A/C version of the car. Well, he threw out the old compressor, and looks like the threw out the bolts with it. Sadly, I didn't know this until after I ordered a new compressor. So now I need to find the correct sized bolts to mount the compressor.

Anyone know the size? I'd need not only the head size, but the length as well.

If it's a 12 mm head it would be an 8 mm bolt.
no clue on the length, either get them from the dealer or a junkyard

They are 100 mm in length.

Awesome! so 12mm head, 8mm bolt, and 100mm in length! That helps me out a lot! I'll look through my father-in-laws box of bolts. He may have saved them, but they could be buried. If we can't find them, Then having these sizes will help me find something that will work.

90023-P2A-000 is the bolt part number if you wanted to order some from Honda. Upwards of $10 a bolt though...
