Valve Cover Bolt Size [solved]

Found out the previous owner has pulled the threads out and strip the heck out of one of the valve cover holes that the bolts screw into. Anyone have any idea what size bolt or what size drill bit and heli coil it would require to fix? D1618 motor

M6 or m4 maybe? I would measure one. Make sure you get the correct thread pitch

Ya I figured it was an M6. Not sure of the pitch. Maybe Ill just go to Honda haha

If they're M6, 1.0 is the standard thread pitch.

Yes they were M6x1.00. I bought a metric helicoil repair kit off Amazon. Found out I had a total of 3 holes that needed to be repaired. Valve cover is all back on and good to go
