Gauge cluster lights

What would the thing holding the 2 lights shining down on the needles be called? One corner of mine is broken and I cant find anywhere what it's called, it's broken enough that the lights dont work from it and 1 light doesnt stay in

Re: Gauge cluster lights

So the clear plastic cover? That doesn't hold any lights. Junkyard, any 96-2000 civic will work. It will be like $5

Re: Gauge cluster lights

There's little quarter turn sockets on the back of the cluster for the bulbs

I've heard them called "theatre lights" since they are lighting up the gauge display. However, searching for that won't give you what you're looking for.

Search for "neo-wedge" bulbs. That will be a small bulb with the wires wrapped into a plastic socket.

If the bulb can be removed from the original socket and you just need the bulb, then search for "miniature wire terminal bulb".

Check out Bulbtown.com for helpful videos.

Re: Gauge cluster lights

It looks like it's the same cluster as my 2000 Honda Civic Ex. I just used "T5" sized bulbs. I have an Amazon link to the ones that I swapped mine out with. I can get pictures of the actual halogen/led bulb of that size and measure it, just to see if they really do use the same bulbs. They're real small bulbs too, smaller than 194's.
