Help!! Im putting a non vtec jdm d15b in my 97dx hatch that had a d16y7. The new engine didnt come with a distributor, just a 7 pin plug for it. My car is usdm obd2a so it has the 9 pin big plug for the dizzy. I got a D4T94-04 distributor for it(the only one that fits) and i cant fine ANY information on a wiring diagram or how to put this 7 wire plug on my 9 wire harness. Plz help!! Distributor is off of a euro ej9 which wouldve been a d14a3 or a4. Any info appreciated!! All i have found is a little information reguarding swapping from my new distributor to my old one but thats the wrong way for my situation so it doesnt have everything i need
You may have better luck on d-series.org. If it's something you can do to your d-series, they've done it.
In your situation, it's probably easier to convert back to OBD1 (completely different distributor and ECU). If it's a smog thing, I don't think the D15 would pass anyway.
