Starting problem: limp mode unless fed gas
Starting problem: limp mode unless fed gas
I have a 2002 LX 1.7 manual drive
The engine light is not on.
I just finished replacing the crank shaft sensor. I didn't tighten the drive belt enough so I had to go back in and do that. This problem started after that.
1) When I start the ignition the starter goes but the engine doesn't start.
2) When I hold my foot on the gas during ignition the car will limp for a bit then start
3) the car seems more sensitive to stalling when in the friction zone of the clutch, especially when in reverse.
4) No other problems when on the road moving.
What do you guys think the problem is?
Thanks!
