Question help please on airbag light asap

first of all i did a search. i know that would have been faster but there was soo much unrelated items. this is my last resort. help from members here.

i have 2004 civic si. the side airbag on the passenger is gone and was set off in an accident. cant afford to replace right now so i know there is a cel fix for the dash light to go off. i dont know how to hook it up and what resistor to use. if there is a write up for it or if some one can tell me what i need and what kind of resistor it would definitly help out.

i need this done by noon tomarrow. personal reason.

thanks all.

it wont work if you dont have the airbag in there if it was set off in an accident. the only way for it to work is if the system is still functioning properly and the light came on cause you removed a something in the srs system. Either get it fixed, or remove the bulb.

Even if you fix the air bag, isn't there some seat belt control module that has to be replaced or the air bag light will continue to be on?

I think 2Ohm 2Watt resistor is what you need. That is, of course, if the passenger side bag is similar to the seat-mounted side airbags. Anyhoo, here's an article I found on it some time ago.

You should replace your SRS air bags and your control unit. If you get into another accident you might not be luck to get away. Try to get some Junkyard stuff even though they arent allowed to sell it try anyway and check ebay. You should be really careful driving!
