My apologies for this pm regarding your Acura. I have been in and out of the Honda game due to when I was in the Army, I was always here and there. I just NOW heard of the Acura EL and I must say yours is beautiful. Hope I don't come off as a creeper, take care and happy holidays!

I'm not entirely sure what you mean for changing the orange day time headlights but if you mean painting or removing the orange reflector, you do need to remove the headlight unit which does mean removing the whole front bumper. As for the rears, same thing, at least for the outer triangle lights - there's a bracket holding them in that is hidden behind the bumper. Bumper removal is very easy, just clips and a few screws. Good luck.

hey i was from the area and was doing some mods on my 1.7el but i find it hard to do alot of things since the car is hard to find parts and manuals for. I need to change the orange day time headlights but can't figure out how to drop the headlight do you need to drop the whole front bumper? Also same goes for the backlights i want to darken them do i need to drop the whole back bumper also? I saw that you posted in alot of posts regarding EL's and you've done a shitload of mods everywhere so hopefully you can help me out thanks
