60mph at 3k rpm ?

my car runs about 60 at 3k rpm in 5th..is it normal in civic?
cuz i ve driven only my dad's car and it runs about 80-85 at 3k rpm in 5th..
his car is v6 a/t and mine is m/t..i kno theres big difference
but i didnt expect this much..hehe
