Break lights always on

2007 Civic ex, with break fuse in, the break lights are always on but don't get brighter when hitting the pedal and so are my head lights. The left blinker always stays on also. When I use the left blinker, it barley flickers. When I take the fuse out. The lights all work as they should? Has anyone ran into this problem before

Re: Break lights always on

headlights are always on, too? Might be purely coincidental.

At least for the brake lights, check your brake switch. If you look at your brake pedal and follow the arm up to the pivot point, you'll see the brake switch set into the bracket (#3 in the diagram below). If you have a multimeter, check if the circuit is closed when no pressure is applied to the button.

Re: Break lights always on

I switched out the break switch but nothing. Replaced interior fuse box also.
