Well I noticed that my brake lights are our only when I press it and when I turn the lights on the ught a work but not when I press them what could it be? Need help!!

first check bulbs. if all 3 brake lights dont work, it could be a bad brake pedal position switch. get a new switch and plug it into the connector without installing. the brakes should light up. i use a spare switch to test mine so i can see them without pressing the pedal. its a backwards switch so its on in open position and then when you push the switch they turn off.

cut wiring (usually when the wires are run past the trunk hinges and get bent over time from opening the lid) and even blown fuse. could also be bad bulb sockets so test to be sure you are getting 12v at the connector when the brake is pressed.

also check the ground inside the socks where you put a bulb, make sure they are pressing against the metal (green wire)... other wise the lights will dim out when you hit the brakes
