Fuel Issue 1989 Civic HF
Here is a video of my issue:
At full tank, no issue. 7/8 tank issue starts showing up, 3/4 tank car will bog down and but still run. anything below that I have to stop, let off the brake, brake some more, and stop, to(I assume) get gas onto my fuel pump to lubricate the bearings(which I think are going bad) my roommate says it's a vacuum issue but I'd like some extra opinions. and 1/2 a tank the engine pretty much just dies at a stop sign/light.

Re: Fuel Issue 1989 Civic HF
Did some research and took the cheapest route first. I found a single post about my issue that was fixed by replacing the fuel sock that you get at the parts store with a stock one from a junkyard car. And so far it's working like a charm, I'm at half a tank and no idle issues when stopping the car. I hope this helps someone else because this has been one of the most annoying problems with a car I've had yet.
