Rep Power: 0 PLEASE help., cluster & small light
I blew something.. Prob a wire touching.. Small light fuse kept blowing at touch of new fuse. Rewired my after market stereo. Small light fuse is now fine. However, my gauge cluster and small lights (gear shifter and such) plus the door chime, are not working. Something is blown, I just don't mnow what. Also on the cluster "srs" and "brake" light stay on. I have checked all fuses. Thank you!! I appriciate your time

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: PLEASE help., cluster & small light
Unplug everything related to the radio, then retry installing the fuse.
Make sure you did not connect anything to any wire marked 'illumination'.
This new LED you were installing in the cluster, did you get the polarity wrong?
Did you smell smoke? Smoke came out of the dash?
Burn a trace off of the cluster circuit board?

No burn or smoke smell., don't remember hearing anything either. Not sure as far as trace.... Do small lights (gear shifter) run power through the cluster?
