Which is the best choice? Is there a better polisher from another company?

They are both the same unit. The only difference are the attachments. The 7424 is marketed as a polisher and the 7336 as a sander. It doesn't really matter which of the two you get since you still have to buy the backing plate and pads. The pad that comes with the 7424 is crap.
As far as a better buffer? Well, in terms of random orbital buffers like the 7424, this is usually considered one of the best buffers available. It's really safe to use. You might want to take a look at the Cyclo also. I hear it's pretty good too, but I honestly haven't tried it.

go to lowes and pick up the pc7336sp, and then buy a backing plate and pads from the nearest detailing/paint supply store near you OR order online.
