Are thesse things really that easy to use? I would hate to find out the hard way(burning the paint) that it takes alot of know how. If so are there any differances between a PC 7424 and a 7336?

Rep Power: 372 If its a professional porter cable buffer they are only easy to use if you know what you are doing. If you want to learn how to polish the paint I advice you have someone that is experienced show you how to do it, before you take it upon yourself to learn. If you are going to start polishing, make sure you get practice on a car that needs to be polished but also make sure that the person that owns the car wont mind if you burn the paint....I learned on a trade in ford escort when I worked for a ford dealer....I wouldnt buff out the finish on your civic for the first time doing it

Rep Power: 372 To find out the differences, why dont you goto Porter Cables Website and do some reading. I have an older model, not sure of the model number, but it is an excellent machine...not very light though.....so I wouldnt recommend it to the beginner.....
