Engine Mounts

Replaced all my engine mounts with aftermarket. Big mistake. Vehicle vibrates like crazy now. After reading into it, the general consensus is to only use OEM here. I want to replace them with OEM mounts but they're expensive to do all at once. Is there one or a couple of the engine mounts that help with vibration more than the others?

Thanks!

Re: Engine Mounts

If you're looking for OEM you could try getting some good looking ones from a junkyard to save some money.

When you say aftermarket are you talking about cheap OEM replacement mounts or stiffer, performance mounts? I have used cheap OEM replacement mounts on multiple cars with no issues.

They're cheap OEM replacements. Pretty hard to install them wrong and the vibration definitely started after I put them on. Not sure what else it could be.

Re: Engine Mounts

I've only ever replace one or two at a time. Very possible the mounts you have are just stiffer than OEM and replacing all at once made it noticeable.
