Stop lights not working [solved]
Stop lights not working [solved]
Please help, my stop lights quit working! Fuse and horn is good. Break switch i think is good too. I removed it and inserted a wire to short the connection but still no lights. Bulbs are good I think . So when i turn on my lights all lights light up including break lights. But if i stop on brake pad nothing happens. are break lights and tail lights share the same bulbs?

Yeah, 7thgens use a 7443 as the combination brake light/tail light bulb. It's a dual filament bulb. One filament is on for tail lights, both filaments when the brake is applied. Pull the bulbs and see if both filaments are in tact or just one of the two. Does your third brake light illuminate upon brake application? If so, that tells me the wiring and everything is good, and I'd be willing to bet the brake light filament is blown but the tail light filament is still in tact.

Yes, you guys right. Four new bulbs solved my issue. Three for break light and one for reverse light.
