Mysterious parasitic current
Mysterious parasitic current
In the ACC position my 2002 Honda Civic kills the brand new battery in 15 minutes. I connected and measured 2A of current in ACC with nothing on. I can hear a hum in the engine compartment that i can make disappear (along with .9A) by pulling the #6 fuse under the hood labeled “FI ECU”. But that is the only thing that seems to make a difference. I have pulled ever single fuse and relay to no avail.
sSo let’s say I sit in my car for 30 minutes while my wife shops and I just want to charge my phone. Nothing else. Boom, dead battery. And this battery is only 2 months old. Cost 150 bucks. Seems like most cars should be able to charge a phone for 20 minutes without affecting the starting.
Some side notes that may be (or not) helpful. I have a junk yard driver side front door. My pass. rear window doesn’t work (not the fuse). My driver rear window sometimes won’t work. Seems random when it works or not. Like it’s shorted or something.

Re: Mysterious parasitic current
Fuse 6 has both main relays, the ECM/PCM, IAC valve, TDC sensor, CKP sensor, all four injectors, and the immobilizer control unit. You'd have to unplug one at a time to narrow down.
As mentioned in the link sdaidoji posted, your windows could be broken wires in the door harness. Usually right where they bend every time the door is opened, and most often the driver door. Broken wires at the driver door can cause issues with any other window.
