Fog Light switch & features?

2002 Civic EX Coupe, Automatic.

I'm looking at installing aftermarket fog lights, with a factory appearance. I have afew questions.

1). Where is the factory fog light switch located?
2). When the factory fog light switch is activated, does the switch itself illuminate or is there a dash light, to indicate the fog lights are on?

In reading about installing the aftermarket looking kit, I assumed the switch provided would mount into the bezel below the radio. This is where I'd like to install the switch, due to having 2 blank spots. But, I understand the aftermarket switch will replace the factory cruise control spot. I don't want to give up that spot(s).

3). Is there a different bezel that goes below the radio, that I could switch out? If so, which one?

I guess I could always hard wire it in, so the fog lights come on with the parking lights, but I'd also like the lights to go off when the High Beams are activated / flashed.

Did you ever have any luck with this? I have had the exact same issue since I bought the car and the ebay light kit in the spring. 2002 switch cutout is not the same as the Youtube video above. It will not work, I even tried to shave it down. Plus the mounting and the depth is all wrong. I also don't want to bury the cruise switch. I have been looking for a used OEM switch, but they are not available. I found one that I think is the same size on Ebay from China, JDM OEM fog switch. But they want $50-70 plus 30-60 days. Hoping someone on here has an old used or new one, or saved one out of the junk yard. For the sedan, it's 08V31-S5D-110B.

Thanks!
Chad

Re: Fog Light switch & features?

I found an OEM fog light switch in the junkyard and wired it into my aftermarket kit.
