Battery light and weird thing that fell out from car [solved]

Hi there, I just finished changing my clutch and I started up and drove my car around for about 5 mins and it was fine. Then I went back and unbolted the exhaust because me and my friend thought it would be funny, immediately after starting the car the battery light came on and hasn't gone off again, but since we already unbolted the exhaust we went for a 2 min drive anyway with the exhaust open at the headers, I had a check engine light as I expected as the cables to my O2 sensors are cut, and I tried to solder them back together but I didn't put anything to stop them from shorting on each other as I wasn't sure if they were soldered well, Is it possible that they shorted and popped a fuse or worse?

Update: I'm pretty sure that thing is part of the exhaust as I put it where I think it goes, bolted the exhaust back up and everything sounds right, but bad news is I removed the exposed ends from tbe O2 sensors but the battery light is still on and the battery voltage when the car is running is 12.49-12.53 as compared to the 12.76-12.79 when it's not running, if I remember correctly the car should be at 14.2-14.4 when idling so that is pretty concerning, seems like an issue with the alternator? I also checked the small fuses in the engine bay and none of them were popped, I havent checked the larger ones yet (30+ amps)

Issue solved, I checked all the fuses in the car and my ACG (which I think stands for alternator circuit generator) fuse was blown, replaced it with the power mirror fuse of the same rating and bam everything fixed, apart from the 02 sensors of course, but that shouldn't be too difficult of a fix
