So I'm looking for a new car and a 2018 Civic fits my budget. But I've been reading about this whole oil Dilution problem the 1.5 has been having, seeing as the 1.0 is a turbo engine, does the 1.0 suffer from the same issue? Or is it just isolated to the 1.5?

Never heard of a 1.0 Turbo in a Honda. The 1.5 and 2.0 are the only turbo engines that I’m aware of. Are you referring to the 2.0?

User(s) on here have had success with the 1.5t. Having a 1.0 in a car that large doesn’t sound like it’ll last long. My motorcycle has a larger engine that that.

Europe market is different, also roads are way tighter than US/Canada.
My home country also had 1 liters without turbo, which could be found more easily for sale in towns close to higher mountains (couldn't make it up hill...)
