Turbo Timer?

undefined

Ok i was just wondering say your n/a and u have a turbo timer? Is that considered stupid? Would it help the car ne with cooling down after running the crap out of it? Or does it matter if after running it just to turn it off. Just wondering because the turbo timers say that they can be used for n/a and turbos.
So just wondering what everyone has to say about it?

They can be used for seriously modifyed street machines N/A. But usualy a turbo timers are used to keep the car on for a period of time so that the oil and circulate through the turbo so it can cool down. After hard racing, you dont want your turbo spinning with no oil being pumped through it.... Bearing will wear out and thats the end of your turbo.

The turbo timer is good for any engine. it allows the oil to cool down after driving which increases the life of the oil, and in turn increases the life of the engine. an oil cooler will help a lot with engine life, you'd be amazed how much. during the summer I took one of those laser temp. guns and shot it to some oil while changing it. it came out to 220-230 degrees right after driving. and that was just regular granny driving. an oil cooler will drop it about 30-40 degrees which is a good thing for engine life.
