What oil is better for turbo?

Okay. I've got an oil change coming up and I'm thinking of switching from oil/durablend to a full synthetic. On top of that, I'm planning on getting some money and getting an SF kit sometime in the future. So, my question to you all is this:

What will make the turbo perform better? Oil or synthetic? I'm gonna guess that what's good for the goose, is good for the gander. Basically that synthetic should be the way to go.

I want some of you turbo guys to weigh in on this and I want some opinions.

C'mon. Someone has to know what'll be better. We've got enough turbo guys around here now.

mobil 1 5w30 in my boosted d17.

0w30 is too thin and tends to get past the seals .....from what i am told, so i stick with the 5w

Alright. So either 5w30 or 10w30. But should I run oil or is synthetic perfectly fine, and actually recommened, for turbo?
