I would have to agree with Vizyun. I am sure some people wouldn't come out afterwards, but for those who don't know the area it can be kinda difficult. Parking down at that harbor on a saturday night will be a biatch, plus be expensive, unless we car pool down there! I don't know if we could plan something now, but for those who want to see more of the city, I am sure some of us natives will be able to show you around!![IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

last time i went i parked in some hotel garage
when i went to B more for Import Eurasia i parked in some garage about a block for the Convention Center for like $8. that's not too bad is it?..especially if you put like 3-4 people to a car.
Anyone know if anything else is going on that weekend that would cause the harbor to be more crowded than usual?

Rep Power: 0 Not that I'm aware of . . . I think I know what parking garage you're referring to. It's on Lombard, correct? That's where I parked for Import Eurasia as well. Lots of room. I'm not sure how far away from ESPN Zone it is though. . . anyone know? Either way, if we decided to go, and it was close, that garage would be optimal for parking. It's pretty centrally located. Anyone know how much ESPN Zone costs?

Rep Power: 0 hell ya all the cool peopls b-day are in june lol j/k but that is cool we have other peoples b-days so close to each other. and trust me turning 20 from 19 is no big deal all i did today was get my arm beat in have a few[IMG]i/expressions/beer_yum.gif[/IMG] and had some pizza and thats it. nothing special. trust em 21 will be alot better though.
I saw that we are looking for things to do after the B-more meet. American Tire and Wheel on Rte. 1, is sponsoring a car show on July 20th. I called today, they are expecting 150 cars to show. I am not sure what time it starts but I think its later in the afternoon. Just a thought. As far as parking for ESPN Zone, parking in the area is at least $10, but I don't know how close we will be. Bring good walking shoes...

Hey Mav, nice meeting you too. Your car is tight. Like I said yesterday, I have a long way to go! Better luck next time on the show. I know you probably got some ideas for future improvements.

speaking of awards... has there been any mention of doing like a Members Choice Award? We could vote on who has the best wheel/suspension setup, performance mods, I.C.E., and overall Civic. Its just a thought and something to add some overall flavor to the meet.

Rep Power: 356 Oh hell yea we are beating them. I think Rob said we have about 28+civic's planning on coming. That beats them right there...now, that is if everyone shows up! (Which they BETTER!)
I am going to call around to some places and see if I can get some stuff donated so we can have some raffles and what not. I don't know if I can pull anything big off, cause I don't have any sponsors (unlike Derek and Supermex who got the stuff from their's) But I will see what I can do. If any of you people have sponsors or know companies that are willing to donate some stuff, go for it!

I will check around and see what I can find. I will also push to see if we can get some local sponsors. I was a little disappointed in the florida "National 2k1 Meet". Only 15 2k1 civics? We have to really push this B-more meet! I am excited! Please post feedback about the awards idea and post any other ideas that will meke this meet better.
