MOTOR....need one! HELP.... does anyone know where i can get a good motor for my car

you should search the forum before you start posting. we are not gonna spoon feed you.
and try asking in ur regional forum. SEARCH for it here.
you can find ur motors anywhere, junkyards, or just simply talk to a shop that does swaps and tuning, they can do the work for u but they might charge you a bit more.....or just buy one online. google will have you a million answers and hits.

Yeah...they're not really that hard to find. Expect to spend at least $400 for a decent mileage one. The motor code is D16Y8, I believe, but you'll want to double check me on that by looking at the block stamp on your engine, on the front, to the left of the exhaust manifold. Craigslist is is a good place to look also...

Yup all good answers. Auto wrecking yards always pull the motor from every car and have them on crates so you can have them brought out to your transportation vehicle.

yes all good answers...except i did all that already none were able to be found for my car.
but i jus bought a whole civic for $500 bucks so i could use the motor for my car...and sum other parts. im parting out the rest to be sold.

You can do a core swap with just about any major parts chain. Just get the new engine and take your old one up there, its only a few hunrded out of pocket and the quality is guaranteed.

The shitty thing is its gonna be slow as hell....
Ugh...but hey who can argue with sumthin that cheap with such low low loooooow milage....

glad you found something, you know any shops around that would build up the motor for cheap? give it a lil extra power and clean up the carbon inside.
