i broke 5 dremel pieces grinding that hole bigger....well they didn't break they got so hot that the glue that was holding them on melted but i did break one!

Thats the furthest i could mount it...i wish i could have mounted it right in the middle. Now that im running it through the hole now i think i can move it to the middle. Should I?

1. The farther away you mount it the more tube the air has to travel through and the potentially slower it could get.
2. The farther away you mount it, the more tube there will be covering the radiator on the front of the car, and therefore the less exposed to air the radiator will be. You don't want to cover it up any more than you have to.
Ok, if you still have the camera I want to see pictures of:
1. How the tube is connected to the Ram air inlet (the thing mounted in the bumper)
2. How the tube is connected to your SRI
I still might DIY mine out the fog light hole.

since air is technically being pushed into your engine by the atmosphere, the atmosphere will only push till it's full, it will not pressurize because youa re goign faster, it will simply divert away from the intake (like the areodynamic of a car)
it maybe more smooth because it's getting consistant cold air, but it will not increase power
