Ok... so I'm assuming these are universal pieces? As in the WeaponR extension will just clip onto any intake right? Or do they make specific ones for our car?

I say its just as good as my RSX sway bar if not better...just cant decide if i like the improved speed or handeling better hmm...
Anyway....This this is cool as hell, wow i get sooo much better pickup at higher speeds/high rpms...wow more than i had expected.!!
The box says 10-15% increase...i was like YEA RIGHT...but i belive it now. I say I got ATLEAST 5hp out of this im betting more!! now i have to take my car to the 1/4. This kit is what completes your SRI or CAI...but you might have to change filters.
Ok here's the bad news....this isn't for you if your not willing to cut your bumper or bend some metal to fit the tube through. Ill post a DIY if theres interest. BTW you will most likely have to go to home depot and buy some rubber couplings/clamps and misc.....its cheaper than buying a dragon filter and using the attachment.
Also im sure I would see more improvement if i used a heatshield on my filter like they show in that dyno graph. My setup right now is an SRI generic cai (haven't gotten my new intake yet) with a K&N filter stuck at the end. I cut out a hole at the tip of the filter and put foam and used a coupling to fit over the tip of the filter to connect to the ram air tube. ALSO the thing sticks out a lil farther than i wanted...BUT its the only way to keep the tube from getting any more squished....ironfist was right its such a tight fit that i didn't think it would be ramming air very well...but it is! Also be creative and install it how you wish.

but you have to cover it up if it's raining, right? Could you use a bypass valve? What if it's open and some kid shoots your car with a super soaker? Will it work with AT and MT?

Looking at the pic, it looks like the storm shield completely covers the opening. How does it get air in when you have it on?

I bought an Weapon R SRI when I bought my car...I loved it!!! It seemed like I had more lower end torque than with my AEM CAI. Everyone always ***** on Weapon R's products....I liked it better than any other intake I have ever owned. I might try this

I dunno how well its working but i can tell its working...I bet i can make it work much better....And i dont think i need the storm shield....I have somewhat of a bypassvalve now. The filter is not covered and is at the end of my SRI pipe so if it ever sucked up water it would suck up from inside the engine bay.

Sorry to keep bugging you.
How does the tub from the RAM Air kit meet the tube from the SRI? Do they each have their own filters? I know SRI's have filters, and the pic of the ram air kit in the first post looked like it had it's own tube.
Thanks,
IronFist

Well I had the rainshield on all day today, and i dont like it! Well i noticed it really only improves (like noticibly at 60+)
And ill try to answer your question...tell me if this answered it
You use your SRI's filter, but you will have to buy another one if the TIP of the filter is all metal. Like all you need is a 3" to (3,4") coupling to connect the ram air kit's tube to the SRI's Filter.
The ram air kit has a filter also but its does not look like it will filter much....but i guess you dont Really have to use one if you dont want to. You can take apart the scoop and look at the filter and judge for yourself. Ill take some pics as soon as i can borrow a digicam. And im still waiting on that intake i ordered. They just sent it out today and its coming from cali.
