Fog Light Wiring

Hey guys, I have a few questions about the wiring for my ebay fog lights. The relay is connected as so:
Name: 6uTUhl.jpg
Views: 158
Size: 83.3 KB

So that's set. The switch is connected correctly as shown here:
Name: pmsUCl.jpg
Views: 135
Size: 64.1 KB

My questions start here. The green wire comes from the switch and then ends like this, with the red piece beng the snap connector it came in:
Name: W7UI7l.jpg
Views: 131
Size: 70.4 KB

The white wire comes from the relay, into the fuse and also like the green with the red snap connector:
Name: qlZbdl.jpg
Views: 134
Size: 47.0 KB

Any idea where the green and white wires run? From my understanding of the HANDA instructions, the white wire is always hot. Not sure about the green one. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Fog Light Wiring

Anybody?? I know the green wire powers the button as it lights the switch, but I'm not sure what the white one does. Or where to plug either.

Re: Fog Light Wiring

I am highly guessing you'd have to tap into a 12v with the white, not sure

Heres two threads for you to figure it out, I dont see the green/white wire really mentioned, so figure it out

Re: Fog Light Wiring

that second one looks great! I tried basing it off of the first link and the placement guide helped, but when it came to wiring it wasn't too helpful....im gonna have to try this when i get back home from school

Re: Fog Light Wiring

Looks like both have to go to a switched-on only power source. One to power the relay and one to power the switch.

Re: Fog Light Wiring

Umm well the relay was connected to the lights via a red wire, then the only other two connections from the switch and relay were the green and white wires. So I powered them both and nothin.

I can only assume this is how the wires go:
White to fused power to power the relay
green to fused power to power the switch

When you turn on the switch it should send power to one terminal on the relay which will let the relay senf the white power to the lights,(red wire)
You need to use a test light w/probe to check for power in and out.
