Fog lights from Wal-Mart...?
Are the approx-$50 fog lights from Wal-Mart good enough to put on my car?
Or should I definitely buy one of those insanely expensive pairs (for whatever reason, I don't know)..
What is the difference between the very cheap fog lights, and say, the $400 ones that my dealership sells?

The difference is, more than likely you get what you pay for. True, there are some exceptions, but its more generally the rule. If youre lookin for high output light go with the PIAA fogs. I went with the OEM's because I just wanted fog lights. If you just want pair then go with the ones from WM. However if you want the best there is be prepared to pay more $
Wal-mart also sells nice soft cuddly teddy bears... whose hair falls out in a week (Note: Never buy gf teddy bear from wal-mart )

The OEM ones will fit perfectly in the space- they are molded to fit. The Wal_mart ones (Generic) will have gaps and you will probably have to cut and drill to mount. The OEM ones will bolt perfectly.

Dark-civic is correct about walmart and sony example but i've been to wallmart to look for plate covers, first of all there plate covers are over priced and kinda crappy, as well not because its wal-mart or anything, their foglights are extra crappy, because the bulbs in them are very weak and the designs are bulky and the lens pattern is kinda nasty, its like rainbow color.
If you really do want to get pretty ok semi-good cheap fog lights, you can go for Eurolite, but the best not because just brand name is PIAA, they really do have great quality fog lights, if you want to get stuff at a fraction of their cost, check out ebay, i got piaa 1900x, you can check out www.piaa.com and see what foglights you prefer or check out eurolite, not sure of the website

I work for a tv reapir shop and believe me wen I say this....."sony is $hit. . >>I own at least 30 Sony products and I've never had anything wrong with anything. Not even once. I have a receiver that I got in 1991 with an old school 1 dics CD player and it they work perfect. That's over 10 years. Most people who bring stuff to repair shops are idiots that drop things or don't know how to use them properly.
