Rep Power: 0 Can I Use Driving Lights? (instead of Fog)
I've been looking to get some fog lights installed, but was wondering if I can use driving lights instead? Fog lights have the wider short-distance beam (e.g. PIAA 1400), while driving lights have a narrower long beam (e.g. PIAA 1100). I know driving lights are generally used to supplement high beams, but can I use them for normal use, just pointing them lower to avoid blinding traffic? Or is the beam not really useful in that application and I should just stick to true fog lights?

Rep Power: 0 I know guys that used small airplane landing lights, but they only used them running the back roads, and never on the highway. That's what driving lights are for. They would light up the road a long ways, just like daylight.
