yeah, just run the power and tap it to your parking lights, this way when you turn your headlight switch either 1 or 2 clicks it turns on.

pin 86 - input from parking light wire or whatever wire you want to use to trigger the relay
pin 30 - +12 volts ignition - fuse this line, 3 amps should be fine
pin 85 - ground
pin 87 - to neons

I believe that is right, if I am wrong somebody correct me

check the alarm wiring diagram on this site. itll tell you wire color and where in the underdash to find it. youll grab the headlight wire and use that to peg the relay. no drilling required, and no firewall to deal with.

every single light in your dash is hooked up to the headlight switch.

yep, sounds about right. you shouldnt have to pull the fusebox though, the wire is running around.

like I said, you can even find it attached to your gauge cluster, to ever device in your center console, etc. its still red/black.

but fish around your underdash, itll be there accessible somewhere.

allright so i did this today and i have the 12v connection conected the the fuse panel and with a 3 amp fuse it all works but when i turn on the lights theres a clicking noise under the wheel i was wondering if this was just the normal light sound when they go on or if it something with the relay or fuse connection

CivicSky is an unknown quantity at this point
Picture worths a thousand words!!! Hook the "2" and "3" up through a relay to your neon lights (don't worry about the "1", I circle it for something else). They should lit up only when the parking lights are on. This is actually the factory setup for the aftermarket foglights. So, there is no stripping, no parting at all. Just get 2 new plugs and you get the power whne the parking lights are on.

The taillight relay is in the fuse box that is located there. You should hear a single click when the parking lights are turned on, anything else you should check out.
