2008 IMA knocking sound below 2200rpm
Hi,
I found a yt video that shows exactly what problem i have.
https://youtu.be/MKXp2Cz02wY
Car is after adjustment valves clearance. Cvt fluid was changed with 120kkm, now i have 150kkm. Oil is fresh 0w20 motul hybrid.
Knocking with higher frequency to 2200 RPM and later goes silent. This sound seems to be quieter if the car is parking in heating garage, but if it stay in the outside at frost sound is louder. Noise is going away with faster speeds like 60km/h.
Any ideas?

please take two minutes watching this video. i spent two minutes finding it for you. i know it's not a civic, but same idea. i did comment on that video way back when i had a PT and he did report back that it fixed the "knock"
it's a "knock sound" nobody ever thinks of. it's a pain in the butt to fix, but harmeless and can be ignored if you know what you're hearing. might help you sleep better at night. watching your video i can almost see the harmonics slinging that chain back and forth
