1999 Civic brake lights not working

I've checked the obvious fuses etc. I changed the brake switch, there is power at the switch but not at the lights.
Any ideas of anything else to check?

Do you have voltage after the switch ?? (you should)

Does your horn work ??

If no fuses are open and horn works... it sounds like an open connection.

If so, you will need to follow that lead back to the trunk or tap in and run another wire back and tie into the brake light wiring in the rear.
