Balljoint

Okay so i got my new balljoints pressed into my knuckles and they have a 90 degree zirk fitting threaded into top, but now my cv shaft doesn't seat into the knuckle correctly, anyone have this issue with balljoint replacement?

the balljoints are from autozone

Re: Balljoint

who was it that said they had balljoints with zirk fittings? And how did you get the clearance to run them?

Re: Balljoint

Zirk fittings won't fit. Grease the joint, then remove the fitting and plug the hole.

I have Moog ball joints on my 2005 ex and I had no problems getting the axle back in after putting the zirk fittings in. I left them in with no problem. I guess it depends which brand ball joints you're using. Dumb question, but are you sure they're pressed all the way in? Are the zirks screwed in all the way?
