Is there any way to get calipers on my back brakes on a 2003 civic coupe????

back to the OP:
stomp on your brakes (in a safe environment, of course
).
if you have ABs and the ABS comes up, you do not really needs the big brakes.
If you don't have ABS and the wheels lock-up, you don't need the big brake kit either.
If you go thorough a lot of downhill, and you feel the brakes are fading, you might need them.
If you want bling, get them!
for better braking, like gearbox reminded us, get tires.

just a few of them offers one front disc connected to the pedal. the other disc is controlled by the lever on the handlebar. Just for info.
