I just got my new cat back exhaust, and i was thinking about tilting my muffler.

I just want opinions and problems that could come with this. And if i do that I've heard it would it reduce the sound..

theres no point in doing it. it looks good on silvias and skylines, not really on our cars.

and if its a catback system, how would you do that? it comes designed one way unless you tried to forcefully bend the piping...

it doesnt really look good on our cars, i agree. and like i was saying before...leave the angled style exhaust to the skylines and silvias, thats where it looks good. not on a civic.

Iv been looking into exhaust systems in great detail the past few days as too i recently got a civic after blowing up my talon, typical dsm. So anyway i loveee the way the anlged exuast look too compare to just sticking stright out so this is what iv found.

the exuast you buy will by angled if its angled, anything you do ueself, sketch i dont recomend it. I can tell you for sure the exhuast system im about to order is the APEXI N1 and i can tell you like 98.9% it will be anlged when you install it. as for others im sure some others are but i havnt found out for sure which other systems are angled.

HKS high power exhausts come angled. That is what mine is. Angles out and up. I like it!

i like the angled look also, but i like the factory muffler still on mine, its nice and quiet.

also it doesn't get quieter by angling, it just makes the sound wave go a different direction

I dont see the point in the angled exhuasts, I think it looks dumb but thats just me. I like stock looking exhausts .
