106,234 only oil has been changed, still ahve about 40% left on pads, having the timing belt changed in two weeks, changin tranny fluid this weekend, just switched to castrol syntec 5w-30 last oil change, improved gas mileage by about 1-3mpg. struts are still good, still drive it hard often (pedal to the florr, redline occasionly). runs great, what can ya espect, its a HONDA they last forever.

2005 Civic Couple DX-G 5 speed(a/c, pwr locks,center console)

Since Im Canadian I won't really know exactly when I hit 100k miles but I will hit 100 000 kms in the next week which is a hell of a lot for a year and 4 months since I bought it brand new. I drive bout 200km a day 5 days a week then usually more than that on the weekend. Pretty much 98% highway miles.

Just this last week was -30C, drove it in summer at +30, so far nothing has come up. New tires a ways back and just basic maintence. Timing belt soon though as they reccomend it at 96k with the extremes in temperature. By the time I pay it off I will be pushing 500k km's

^^^ Wow....Somewhere around 62k miles. ( I think ) Makes me feel better I'm pushing 40k miles on my 05 ( 2 years in early March ) No warranty left. The RE92's are whining loudly at this point in time, ( rated at 40k BTW ) Looking foward to a quieter new set of Michelins very soon.

I got 110,000 on 2002 DX. Had 4 miles on it when I got it. Change oil every 3k. Timing belt at 75k. Got new control arm bushings at 80k (made a clunking noise when turning). Currently I'm hearing main shaft/input shaft bearing noise when in neutral. Dealer says the bearing needs to be replaced with new clutch for $1700. I'm gonna wait and see what happens.

What are the symptoms of a blown strut? When I turn the steering wheel when stopped, I get a clunking noise. The dealer said it was something with the strut but it was normal.

My 2001 civic lx 4-dr sedan is at 150,000 miles with stock engine, transmission. Only mod is suspension with KYB AGX and Eibach prokie, neuspeed x-brace and front strut bar. Steering is still not perfect, but otherwise everything is fine.

204k

Just made 204,000 on my 2001 Civic LX Sedan... The only problem I have is a cracked exhaust manifold and I am debating if it's even worth getting an OE part since it cost about $520+, brand new.

Any suggestions? I am willing to go an alternate route (headers, etc.) but not sure what I need to do or even get. Is there even a DIY for replacing an exhaust mani with headers???

I just picked up a 01 LX sedan with 117k miles from its origional owner. She took care of all scheduled maint at a honda dealer. The only problem she had with it since 2001 was a dead battery. I noticed 1 broken motor mount and a very small crack in the exhaust manifold before i bought it. Gonna have the mani welded up and replace the motor mount and I should be good to go for another 100k.

Just turned 150k miles on mine. Yes, original auto transmission.

I checked the valves about a month ago, a few were a little loose, but would of probably been fine. And the orignial battery went dead about the same time.

Hoping it goes 300k.

I've got a 93 ex bought it last sept with around 160k it just hit 178k I've flushed the tranny @ 165k, oil change every 3k.. but because i bought it from someone who doesnt know how to maintaine a car. the crank seal is bad so its leaking a little oil but other than that runs like a champ. Ill stand by honda's every day i had a 90 accord ex that died just shy of 600k had to replace the tranny once that was the only serious problem i had with it. it shattered the 4th cyl connecting rod kept running but then it finally caught breaking the crank...

178K on my '93 ex coupe 5 spd. Have never replaced the clutch although I may go ahead and do it anyway. Did replace the timing belt as regular maintenance. Only problem I can recall is the distributor which was a recall on the '94s and mechanic said should have been on the '93s as well.
