yo I heard it was perfectly fine but maybe a lil' too rich maybe on 5psi...I know this b/c my gas mileage SUCKS ASSSSSSSSSSS
which means I'm running RICH....lower #'s are richer...higher #'s are leaneroh btw, it pulls hard as hell too...got it up to 135 tonight before I got off it cuz I got scared b/c my suspension is shot....murdered...

cliff - figured you'd be hyped when you found this out. your car is in one of the pictures in modified mag. the pictures are from when yall went to torsion in dallas. page 176 , picture 1 , right behind the dude with the black mugen rsx .

Wes- Are you getting rid of the washer tank? Thats the only way to run ic piping on each side.

I think cylinders is to ghetto man, lol. Im ordering vertical door kit today and getting the apexi rsm. I dont know what else. Im still waiting for my damn seats.

green - i have no clue now . every time i turn around i get hit or something. buggy smashed into me while i was at work to other day . another big dent to fix. on intercooler piping - you can also run it inbetween the radiator suport and subframe, back behind the motor and up by the oil pan or 180 the pipe and go under or above the ic.

Wes-Reading a/f ratio is like this; 12:1 is 12 parts air to 1 part fuel. If your a/f is 8:1, you have 8 parts air to 1 part fuel. The more your air increases, the leaner you run. Optimal reading for max power would be anywhere between 12.8:1 to 13.2:1. Remember this when tuning and you will make awesome power.
Also, for your intercooler piping, remember one thing: the further the air has to travel from the turbo to the intake, the more lag you will have and the longer it will take for you to spool a turbo depending on the size of it. The fewer bends and less amount of piping that you use, the better. I'd say look into going top mount if you could. That's exactly what I'd do. Do some research on WRX intercoolers and see if you could swing something possibly. You would need to do some custom work to the hood but with a good scoop on it, you could cool it pretty well.
BTW, what turbo did you decide on? t3/t04e?

I managed to find an rsx-s head that all I need to do is pay shipping on, woohoo. A friend of mine blew her motor and is getting an all new long block and she said she would send me her head if I paid the shipping. That with k24 block and type s tranny and I'll be ready for some pistons.

ordered vertical door kit today for $900 shipped and overnite shipping. Also ordered the APEXI RSM for the hell of it to spice up the interior.

no, i dont have to get rid of the washer tank to make the ic work....i have it figured out though, if i can just find some pipe.....i hate to buy pre-bent pipe, and try to make it work....but i cant seem to find anyone that can mandrel bend pipe around here....
as far as setup goes cliff: huge front mount, return fuel conversion with aeromotive boost recognition fpr, walbro 255 fuel pump, with modded fuel rail, and all other hardware, hks ssq bov, custom ic piping, safc2 for tuning fuel, and turbo....dont know exactly which one yet....depends on pricing....
i would be very close to being done, but dude is taking forever to finish paying for kit.....if i would have known that it would take him 2months to pay for it, i would have sold it to someone else.....i just got second payment from him, and he still owes me 800 bucks....

As far as the tranny, I would like to have a type r tranny but they are too expensive and too hard to find. I can drop a quaife into a type s tranny for 800 and I'm good to go. With the higher compression, I may run an ems with it and raise the rev limiter to around 95k so either way the gears won't make a difference. I'll be able to stay in my powerband for longer with the type s tranny on a raised rev limiter.
