dont know if yall remember back in May when i got into a wreck 2 weeks after i got my car....well recently i noticed my carpet getting really wet when it rained so i took it to honda today and they said that whoever fixed my car didnt seal up a section good enough, so now i have to take it back to the peeps that fixed it. They have to replace my entire carpet and seal that shlt up. And now i have to live with a d@mn rental for a few days. Gonna go pick up the rental tomorrow. Hopefully its no ford escort again. God that thing was a piece. Atleast i get to have fun with it [IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG]

Meanwile, I'm over here gettin in to wrecks and shiit. I rear ended a truck today. Not a scratch on the truck, but I have to replace my bumper, grill, headlights, and hood. And I'm poor as f u c k. Anybody got extra parts layin around?

sorry guys that i havent been around. i went into the hospital wed and just got out sat morning. i got bit by a spider and my arm swole up and started turnin colors. they kept me in there for 4 freakin days. i thought that they were going to have to cut it off at the elbow. i started scarin me. it bit me 3 times on the right arm. they pumped me full of all kinds of antibiotics tryin to bring the venom and infection to a head so that it would oozze out on its own[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG]. that crap is nasty.

JW man....why the hell did you let a spider bite you 3 times? lol Glad you're outta the hospital. As for my wreck, I'm fixin to get on the phone and order all my stuff. I went to the insurance place today and they already cut me a check. It's lookin like I'll prolly just go back factory. I was thinkin about the ram air Kaminari hood, but it just doesn't go with the look of my car. And Carbon fiber won't look right either. I'll either get a fiberglass hood or just go back with the factory hood. And man, let me tell you factory headlights are a rip off. They want $232.00 for ONE headlight! I like to fall out my chair when they told me that. I can get a SET of Angel Eye Projectors for that price. As for the bumper and grill, I'm gonna just buy a new grill from honda and if they can't refinish my bumper, I'm gonna buy my friend's. He just got a Xenon bumper so his factory is just sittin in the garage. Hopefully, I'll come out with a little extra money and I can finally install my alarm that's been sitting in my room for a month. lol
So, when's this BR meet? If it were up to me, I'd say that we should meet at the Mall of Louisiana on a saturday. Or, if you guys want to come to Lafayette, you could chill with the crew and cruise around with us one saturday night. Just let me know.

Hey man, check out our "meeting in baton rouge" thread. I will be down for the week of Thanksgiving, so we're gonna do it somewhere at LSU the wednesday before, which is the 27. We'll prolly meet up sometime after 3 pm, but I am drivin outta Lake Charles and will prolly be meetin up w/JW in Lafayette, then heading to br where we'll meet up w/Nuts and whoever all else is goin. There's gonna be quite a few other imports as well as a bunch of 2k1, 2k2 drivers.

If you want it to be sort of a ghost graphic.......get it two or three shades darker than the color of your car. You can also get it 2 or three shades lighter than your car....that would look cool too. Do you have a color that you're painting the interior? Or some kind of color scheme that you're trying to stick with? If you want it to stand out, go with the same color that you're painting everything else. BTW, that's a pretty cool lookin graphic.

okay guys here is the deal. remember when i said that i was quitin on the turbo kit cause i was tryin to buy an old truck. well, i ran across a truck and the guy told me that he would give it to me if i would get it out of his yard. [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] so i am the proud owner of a 1949 5-window GMC truck. well since the truck was free, the turbo project is back on. i bought all my old stuff back from the shop that i sold it to but the turbo. that is where ebay comes in. oh and get this i am not using a front mount intercooler. i am going WRX style. we are puttin it in that big hole where the stock air box goes. owner of show has an intercooler the perfect size and we put it there and it fits and looks perfect. i also bought a WRX hood scoop for it too. i am straight up cuttin a hole in the hood and make a ram air for my intercooler. bought a header gasket from honda today so that he would have a templet to make my manifold with. already coming along great.. so stick that in your pie hole and shove it[IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

That's good news man, I was thinkin about gettin something like the Kaminari hood and doin it up WRX style if I ever went turbo. I love the look of a big *** intercooler in the front grill, but with the intercooler under the hood it's a little more like a sleeper.
