I am getting the head port and polished and am working on a custom polished aluminum intake manifold. I also know a guy who might do custom rods for me $$$$$$$ is the problem with that.

I want to get into low 13's then eventually high 12's

I think it would be so awsome to have a 12 second single overhead motor and a D block at that. It is my goal....12's

custom? you dont have to get customs rods. i personaly dont have the money for forged rods so i bought some used rods off an ls. they are the same hight same crank size, the only diffrence is the with of the crank and the wrist peen size. all i need to do is purchase some bushings for the wrist peen and get a machine shop to grind them to fit my crank. i am also going to use my stock pistons. this set up is for a reliable 250hp mid if not low 13's in a civic coup. here is a pic of the rods:

thanks NUMBERoneHonda. i have been doing a lot of research and i have also come to conclusion that a t3 is better. my question is, what did you do about the fuel management. and did you build it yourself. or did you have tp send you the kit. i have ants in my pants to get this done but i am realizing that i dont have enough $$$$$$$$$ to do it the best way for the car. i dont like used stuff. i like all my stuff to be new. i am definately gettin the header from tp, but the turbo they have is way to expensive. my mechanic told me that he could get one way cheaper. also, i dont car bout pretty stuff under the hood, just on the outside. so as for the chrome and polished stuff. i will leave it to all you show boys. anyway just let me knwo what your set up cost you

Pearl - what's up man....are you pretty good at clearing headlights? I am extremely **** about this stuff, perfectionist, etc and I sure as hell don't want to tackle it myself. Just basically want my headlights cleared and use an amber turn signal bulb but I want them to look as perfect as possible (who doesn't right?). Some mods I am comfortable with, did my intake, exhaust. header...but can't handle the clearing. Tried it once a while back and crashed and burned. Holler back. dmullen@jam.rr.com

Hey! That tournament wasn't at Moore Park was it? I live right down the road from there. That guy with the Si is my boy Brooks. He used to have a blue 2001 Civic Ex Coupe. It was pretty tight, but he sold it and got an Si. Infact, he's one of the guys that came with me to Orlando for the 7thgencivic.com meet......but he doesn't post much. LOL man, for the past few days the weather people have been screaming bloody murder. "Oh my GOD!!! Isadore is comin!! We're all gonna die!! Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!" It didn't even rain over here!![IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] Everyone was prepared for the shiit to hit the fan last night, but all we got was enough drizzle to barely cover my car. lol It actually feels really nice around here for a change.
