Yeah my 16sec pass with a stock car is pretty bad... but against other 16 sec cars it is still a race.
Do you like the signature?
My mods are the SF T3
FMIC
HKS BOV
Alcohol injection
equal runner manifold
2.5" turbo-back exhaust
iridium spark plugs...
the rest of my mods don't affect power. if that's still slow to you what do you drive?
*BTW - Thanks to those who backed me up lol...

Very nice madwheel...I'm undecided if I want to go turbo. I can probably do it by late spring but I'm unsure. Do you have or are planning internal engine work ? Thats a big thing for me...I'm not thrilled with the idea of turbo charging a stock engine.

they handle 9-10 SAFELY if you use alchol injection.
After finishing my suspension and race brakes (doing full course racing in the spring), I plan on upgrading to the DH Racing shortblock, and a ported head. Should be good for about 400whp at about 20-22psi.
And yes I will have an aftermarket clutch by then, it's my next mod, along with LSD
.
*EDIT - That 400hp is just a guess. Until I port the turbo and upgrade to a 3" turbo back exhaust, it looks as though 400 crank horse is more apporopiate.

my bad... madwheel... but on the other note... why not have just gotten a K20... and boosted it??? you'd have DOHC... way way way more aftermarket parts than a D17 does... and you have the Best and most well-known K20 Boostin shop in American Cybernation motorsports on our land... but that's just how i see it... Props to you though... I love turbo

Reason being... wayyy to much money... sure the end is better...
even if the swap cost 3k +$4.4k (my turbo setup), compare that to D17, which came with my car, +the 3k i save in engine buildiing... dollar for dollar, my car would be much faster with the d17, and the engine will be built to take it. that's the only reason y i stuck with the d17, also add the fact that there's very little downtime
