Do you have stock or altezza tails? Just wondering..... do you have stock or "altezza" tail lights on your civic. if you dont have stock, what kind do you have (design, etc.) You can give your reasoning if u want. I just know alot of people hate euros, so im curious to see who has or doesnt have them.

I don't have altezzas and I prefer stock. With my car my goal is to have a car that performs and does not look like the rest out there. With how many civics have alteezas you would think they come on the car stock.
If I had a Black car which I don't mine is silver, I would buy some altezzas for the different brake pattern then get some tint spray paint to smoke them. That would look awesome IMHO.

I just bought some chrome TYCs from a memeber on this site for cheap and before I put them on I will definatly do something to them because they have TOO much chrome. I'm considering smoking them just a little bit, you would still see the chrome but it would be darker. I'm also thinking of covering some parts with silver vinyl tape so they will look like the black TYCs, instead of having the black on part of the light it will have silver to match my car.... something like that atleast. Right now I'm running stock tails though... until spring comes

Rep Power: 0 Just changed back to stock. I had APC carbon fiber look for my coupe and I loved how they looked. APC tails have a crappy seal on the cover so they would fog up and get dust inside. Also, they didn't fit as good as the stocks, there was a slight gap at the sides. I think that stocks are better made and have the perfect fit.

i have a black civic too- i am currently sellling my black chrome donut style- and was considering getting black tyc's - i just cant decide if i want to do that again because EVERYONE has altezza's.... Dump Trucks will soon have them, along w/18 wheelers, milk truck, school buses, and hearses....

I despise altezzas because they don't look good and everyone has them.
Stock looks just too plain.
So painting them adds something to them.

Rep Power: 0 did u just tell them what u wanted and they did it, or you had to provide the design. i wonder how it'd look black.... does any paint and body shop do that?
