7440 and 7443 bulbs.
I'm considering changing these bulbs to LED type bulbs, but I can't really find them around.

Are the 3157's and 3156's similar to them?

APC makes a 7443 LED bulb, go check out the e-catalog on nopi.com to see for yourself.

I think we are talking about the same bulb if it's the one that is clear but lights up red. I got some of those for my parking lights thinking that they would light up clear. Anyhow, that particular bulb is made up of two parts that connect to each other. Let's just say that those two parts break loose of each very easily and the bulb gets a short as a result. I would stay away from the apc bulbs of that type. They are junk.

3157s are compatible with 7440 & 7443.
